Text/Messages

The Walker currently has an exhibition called Text/Messages showcasing a variety of artist books from the typical to the sculptural. Though the collection seems slightly random, I think it's an interesting view of how each artist incorporates image and text. Some give more weight to their artistry, while others use clever design. I definitely think it's worth a look. They've even included a wall of books you can page through. Even if it's unrelated to what your book will be, it might make you rethink what makes a book, a book.
